Right now, there are more than 1.2 million Americans living with HIV, and an estimated 50,000 more will be diagnosed with HIV this year alone. Here’s the truth: in order to end AIDS, it will take a commitment from people like us to do something meaningful and visible to raise the money and support needed to finally end this epidemic.
So, I’ve decided to join Cycle for the Cause and in September I will spend three days riding my bike from Boston to New York City to raise money and awareness in the fight to end AIDS!
For the next several months, I will be training alongside hundreds of other Cycle for the Cause Riders to prepare for this enormous physical undertaking, and I am committed to achieving my training goals. However, I cannot reach my fundraising goals without your help.
Please contribute what you are able. For every $100 I raise, we can help prevent 7 HIV transmissions by distributing safer sex kits; administer 8 HIV tests at The Center to ensure that more people know their status; and provide care for 10 HIV+ people to help them lead happy, healthy lives.
With your help, when this year’s Ride is over, we will have raised enough money to prevent more than 78,000 HIV transmissions!
All donations are tax-deductible and you can even spread out a larger donation over time, so please be generous. Every single dollar goes directly to the beneficiary organization, The Center, to fund their critical HIV/AIDS programs.
Thank you for your support –together we can end AIDS.
